Anything else? Feel free to ask. :)
I came to you because I believed you would try and hear things through. You just brushed it off like it was nothing. You disregarded me unknowingly and just put up a facade of being cool and collected. Okay, I get you, but put your dream to the fucking side for just a second of your day and listen to yourself. “I will go on my own time, with or without you or cousin, or just with older sis.”
No, that’s NOT how it works. Our only grandmother, is going blind… It fucking matters because she wants to see us all together, not apart. You didn’t see how much of a jerk you came off to be when I contacted you. If I were to record you and let you hear yourself, you’d notice how bad of a heartless prick you sounded like.
I’m proud and all that you are pursuing your dream, but god fucking damn, put it on the side for just a moment, and realize, your grandmother is slowly drifting away from not only you but from ALL of us.
I hope you realize what you’ve just did.
I never imagined I’d be standing up again after my last fall.
Things to keep in mind.
- The people who said they would be there won’t always be there.
- Family isn’t always as strong as people would make them out to be.
- Friends either come, and go, and only few choose to stay.
- Everything happens for a reason, whether good or bad.
But whatever the case may be, never blame yourself for anything that happened. Whether it was because you lost a friend, recently still recovering from a break up, or even having problems with your family, never hold the guilt inside you.
Sometimes your best isn’t the best in others eyes, but to some, your best can mean the entire world to them. Sometimes you can get into arguments so harsh that it can slowly demolish the relationship you have with the people you care most about.
It can’t be helped though, because the order of things flow differently for each and every one of us. We may crumble, we may fall, we may even break apart into millions of pieces, but nothing can ever stop us from rising back up. To rejuvenate ourselves, even if it takes months, or even years, nothing will ever stop us from rising back up again, stronger each and every time we rise.
Never give up on yourself.
You can become the greatest anyone can ever be, or possibly even more. Just bear in mind, that the struggles are only part of your quests to complete before reaching the finish line. You can do it, even if others don’t believe in you, know that there is someone out there, also wishing for your happiness to come true.
What I’ve learned:
- Not all promises are kept.
- Not all guys are jerks.
- Not all girls are bitches.
- Not all relationships are perfect.
But that’s the whole purpose of everything. That’s the beauty of it all. To meet people, to walk away from people. Knowing when to stop caring, knowing when to give your best, and knowing when you have to let go of what doesn’t belong. Sometimes things don’t always go your way, but that’s okay. Sometimes you fear nothing will ever be perfect, but that’s okay too, because everyone is scared of imperfection.
It’s hope that fuels us, support that molds us, friendships that build us, and last but never the least, love which motives us with endless amounts of courage. With love in our hearts, we become more active and less likely to be afraid. We become motivated. We become invincible.
We need to learn to appreciate everything as a whole. People, and family alike. We need to embrace love more and let go of the hate that linger in our hearts, as much as we dislike admitting it.
It’s time to embrace, not exclude.
I’ve gotten half way there. Now I just need to run towards the finish line.
It’s a start for the most part, recovering from scars reality has to offer right? I’m not the fastest healer, but for certain patience and endurance sure did it’s role properly. As for the aches… they’ve ceased themselves day by day. I’m sure that in a couple of months, I will be back on my ground once more.

It does not matter how many times you repetitively dap on a few strokes of foundation on your cheeks. It does not matter how thick you make your eyes appear to be through the mascara, eyeliner, or even eye shadow. It does not mean you aren’t beautiful. Everyone is, every person is. Whether foundation is on or not, defining beauty is something only you yourself can accomplish.
Never let what people say break who you are. Never let words shatter you. Never let any person put you down because of the way you look, because honestly, they aren’t you and chances are, they are most likely jealous of how beautiful you can become whether you have make up on or not.
Looks, are a mere reflection of your heart and your mind. The way you dress, speak, laugh, smile, everything, is a glimpse of who you are and that’s beauty in itself.
Always see the positives in yourself, don’t always think you need to lose weight, dye your hair, let alone alter your appearance just to try to fit in for anyone. Fit in as yourself.
